Day 1

Jammu – Katra
Arrival Jammu our rep will be waiting for you and will assist you in Transfers to Katra – Check into hotel.
Katra is the base town for starting the Pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi, located in the foothills of Trikuta Mountains, where the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi is located. It is located 42 km from the city of Jammu.
(Depending on whether you have confirmed helicopter tickets or not – you can proceed for pilgrimage the same evening to return back to hotel by next day morning or afternoon)

Day 2

Katra – Holy Temple – Back
Day free for Heli Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi, (for people with pre booked Helicopter Tickets)
And for the people taking the Yatra by foot the previous evening – they will arrive back to hotel by mid morning or afternoon and rest of the evening free to relax and refresh after a long walk. Evening you can explore the market and do some shopping.

Day 3

Katra – Pahalgam (254kms/6-7 hrs approx)
Drive to Pahalgam (located at an altitude of 7200 ft famously known as village of shepherds & the most famous place for Indian Film Industry; enroute visit famous Jawaharlal Lal Tunnel 2504 mtrs long, Martand Temple (sun temple) the journey will take you through some very lovely scenery along the way.
Arrive Pahalgam by evening and check in to the hotel, Rest of Evening Free to enjoy the beauty of Pahalgam.

Day 4

Pahalgam – Local sightseeing:
After Breakfast visit famous sights from Indian film industry (bollywood), Baisaran view point, Aru village and Chandanwari by horses or car (own expenses). Pahalgam is also famous for trekking routes and base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Day is at leisure enjoy the natural beauty and river Lidder. Evening at Hotel in Pahalgam

Day 5

Pahalgam – Gulmarg (150kms/3-4hrs approx one way)
After breakfast proceed for full day excursion trip to Gulmarg (8700 ft) also known as meadow of flower. En-route sees the world famous Saffron Fields, Awantipura Ruins (9th century temples housing temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu & Lord Shiva) and Martand Temple (Sun temple).
Day is at leisure to enjoy this charming valley, evening stay at Hotel in Gulmarg
Recommended Optional Activities locally available (Gondola** (cable car), Horse ridding, Nature walk and activities like Skiing, Snowboarding & Sledging during the winter months.
**We highly recommend booking Gondola Ticket from Srinagar TRC itself to avoid heavy rush of tourists at Gulmarg

Gulmarg – Srinagar (56kms/2hrs approx one way)
After breakfast proceed to Srinagar (one of several places that has been called the "Venice of the East" notably famous for its lakes and Mughal gardens). Check into hotel and afternoon free for personal activities.

Day 7

Srinagar Local Sightseeing
Today you will start early after breakfast and visit the Mughal Gardens (Nishat, Shalimar and Chaishmai Shahi, Pari Mahal), Shankracharya Temple, Hazrat Bal Mosque and later return back to your hotel /Houseboat activities.

Srinagar to Jammu Railway or Bus Station (300kms/8hrs approx one way)
After early breakfast you will depart for Jammu and reach by afternoon to take your onwards Train/Bus

Srinagar to Sonamarg Excursion A full day excursion to the Golden Meadow of Sonamarg – an area full of lush green meadows and a cool small Glacier called Thajiwas.   • 30 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour Cost
  • 30 to 20 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour Cost.
  • 20 to 10 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour Cost
  • 10 to 05 days prior to arrival: 75% of the Tour Cost
  • Less than 5 days prior to arrival or No Show: 100% of the Tour Cost

Srinagar City – The summer capital of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated in the Kashmir Valley and lies on the banks of the Jhelum River; the city is famous for its gardens, lakes and houseboats. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dry fruits. Gulmarg – (Meaning; Meadow of Flowers) is a hill station and a very popular skiing destination. Easily accessible from Srinagar in under 2 hours by car or bus. The peak season starts with the snowfall in December and lasts until March and the summer (April till Sep) is equally busy with tourists. Gulmarg is very famous because of its "Gulmarg Gondola," one of the highest cable cars in the world, reaching 3,979 meters. Besides that Gulmarg has the highest green golf course in the world and outdoor sports like trekking, mountain biking and horse riding and places of religious importance like BABA RESHI.

Pahalgam - is a town located on the banks of river Lidder at an altitude of 7200 ft. from sea level. It is a world famous hill station and popular tourist destination, the area holds a rich cover of vegetation and the dominant forest consisting of conifers. Every year, thousands visit Pahalgam. A number of treks in this region begin from Pahalgam, like the Kolahoi Glacier, situated up the Lidder Valley; another important places likes Betaab Valley; is a very famous tourist spot situated at a distance of 15 kilometers from Pahalgam and Aru valley noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains is located around 12 from Pahalgam, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar lake.

Pahalgam is also associated with the annual Amarnath Yatra. Chandanwari (2,895 m), is the starting point of the yatra that takes place every year in the month of Sawan (July to August).

Katra – Katra Vaishno Devi as it is popularly known, is a small town in Reasi district of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains, where the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi is located. It is located 42 km from the city of Jammu. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, one of the leading technical university of India is also located here.

Sonamarg – 'meadow of gold' is a snow covered beautiful flower-laden meadow in the majestic Himalayan mountain region, A town surrounded by breathtaking glaciers and serene lakes, located at a hefty altitude of 2,740 m above sea level. In late April when Sonamarg is open for road transport, the visitors can have access to snow which is furnished all over like a white carpet. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier a major attraction during the summer months.
Sonamarg is the base camp for various trekking routes that lead to the Himalayan lakes of Vishansar, Krishansar, Gangabal and Gadsar Lake, stocked with Snow trout and Brown trout and Satsar, glacier-fed and surrounded by banks of alpine flowers. 15 km north of Sonamarg lays Baltal. This is the alternate route to Amarnath Yatra and a base for all Amarnath Yatra Helicopter Packages.
